Gmail button
why cant a Gmail Button be added? .. just like yahoo, skype, aol, etc.

The current options as far as instant message accounts (Skype, Yahoo,Aol etc) are all programmed into the software as default and we have not altered that at all. Everytime we alter some of the code for the site to add functionality or features it takes it futher away from defaults and makes our upgrade path harder to maintain and more time consuming.
We always said (and still maintain) that we will concider all suggestions for addition features but in this case the overal benefit to the membership base here of having this option added is not worth the time it would take to implement and maintain going forward. Sorry for that and I hope you understand
