Young Peoples Section

I do not know if this is a good idea but if there are enough young Photographers that are either members or poss guests that may be intreasted in joining how about a section for them to show their photos and get feedback from others of their own age.

I don't think we want to start segregating any particular group of people on the site

i have to agree with Charlotte, i think we have a broad spectrum of photographers many of them younger but all mature enough not to make any distinction just cos of someones age.

Hmm .... don't think it's a good idea to segregate - and what do you define as "young"???

My seven year old son - has his own camera and posts on another forum I frequent .... he has his age in his sig ... and a custom avatar to indicate to people that he is just a "kid", so their critiques and comments can be adjusted accordingly.

Ok it was only an idea. I did wonder if the youner generation could feel a bit daunted if their photos were judged by an older group of peers and could have poss put them off displaying their pictures

I think photography is not mesured by age, but by experience and and this way we all learn from the more experienced.
