Young chap moves in to a smart flat in central city. So smart that the lease says no pets. On his first night he watches tv, listens to a cd or two and goes to bed. Next day thinks to himself that he could do with some company and wanders off into town to find just that. Goes into a pet shop and explains to the assistant what he wants (company), and what he can't have (pets).
The assistant ponders for a moment, big smile lights uip his face, and says "Got it", and runs out to the back of the shop, returning with a 12 inch square brown box. "This should do the trick" he says and puts the box on the counter. "Great, but what is it ?" asks flat chap.
"This is a South American talking centipede" said the assistant, "quite rare and good company".
Flat chap thinks about it and agrees to buy.

Flat chap gets himself and new pet home and puts the box on a table by the entrance door.

After a while, a couple of tv progs and more music, he decides to go out and goes to the box, taps on it and asks "I'm going for a drink, you coming ?".

Silence


HIts the box a bit harder and raises his voice "YOU COMIN' OR NOT ?"


Silence




Completely certain he's been conned he kicks the box and shouts "I'M GOIN' NOW, SEE YA LATER"





















And a voice comes from inside the box .............
