The snow is basically gone now.The hills still have a patchy coating and small 'pockets' remain here and there.Going to venture out on my bike even though it's frosty this morning and will take my Oly 5060 so may have something 'new' to post.This one taken 1/2 mile from home

Yes its just a fading memory now so you have a nice picture to remind you of it! Just how do you get your pictures so big on the screen and keep the size down to 300kb?

Hi Des,
I do all my 'darkroom' work on them full size and then resize the image to approx 1000 pixel max on the long side [in portrait format I make that 800pixel to fit my screen] and photoshop sorts out the shorter side.I then go to File-Save for web and devices- and you get the new window to set the 300kb [actually i aim for about 280kb as Pixalo needs a few kb I believe ?].I think it was Graham that pointed this method out to me,but not sure
