Mini beast safari
At lunchtime, when it’s dry, I go for a walk in the fields around the Business Park where I work, and seek out the mini-beasts!
Here’s a fly (not sure which!) absolutely covered in pollen  Shield bug  Caterpillar (anyone know which please?)  Ladybird larva  Unidentified (furry!!) beetle  Hoverfly  And finally a skipper  Thanks for looking!

Thanks Kevin, all hand held (too lazy to carry / work with a tripod...
 ).Thanks Mark, it's quite possible that there are plantains about there! I'll have a better look next time I'm there. He was on an oxeye daisy when I took the picture. |
