They just look like laptop bags

Some do, and some don't. I think that's partly the point though to have a bag that doesn't look like it contains a camera and accessories ?

Yeah it doesn't look like a camera bag, but it does (imo anyhow) look like a laptop bag so it's not really changing anything from a potential thief's point of view.

Ahh, but they'll just think that all I've got is 45 million credit card details and not the reality of a photo of a bedraggled pigeon! And that it's just a very big umbrella I'm carrying and not a tripod! My pigeon shot is safe!

Steve, only a photographer would assume that a thief only wants to steal camera equipment but wouldn't bother if he thought it was only a laptop
