EX-Z9 Firmware Update Software.....Version 1.02


Important
Installing this software will return the camera to its initial factory default settings.
If you need your current camera settings, be sure to make a separate record of them before installing this software.
The first time you turn on the camera after installing this software you will need to configure display language, clock, and other settings.
Improvements Provided by This Update

1. Adds support for 16GB SDHC memory cards.
2. Fixes a problem with scrolling of a displayed image.
* Item 2 limited to when "Off" is selected for the confirmation tone setting.
Applicable Users
EXILIM owners whose camera is still running Version 1.00-1.01 firmware.

Important:
If you want screen text to appear in Russian, make sure you install the special software for your particular language. If you install the wrong software, the camera will no longer be able to display messages in your language. If you accidentally install software for the wrong language, re-install the software for the correct language. The software can be installed multiple times without any problem.

If firmware update installation is interrupted due to low battery power, your camera will no longer be able to operate. Be sure to fully charge the camera's battery before starting the firmware update installation procedure. Note that you perform firmware update at your own risk.

To check your firmware version

On your EX-Z9 camera, hold down the [MENU] button as you press the [POWER ON/OFF] switch to turn on the camera. Keep [MENU] depressed until the version of your camera's firmware appears on the monitor screen.

1. If "VER 1.00"-"VER 1.01" appears, you need to download this update software and install it on your camera.
2. If "VER 1.02" appears, it means that your camera already is running the latest firmware version, so you do not need to install this update.
