Post DxO Optics Pro v4.1 now supports the Nikon D40

Press release:
DxO Labs announces today that DxO Optics Pro v4.1 now supports the new, popular Nikon D40 compact digital-SLR. The company further announces the addition of 11 new DxO Lens Modules bringing to more than 450 the number of lens correction modules available to DxO Optics Pro v4.1 users. DxO Optics Pro is the award-winning digital image enhancement tool incorporating revolutionary optics, noise and exposure corrections in an easy-to-use, feature rich application for Mac and PC users. DxO Optics Pro software improves the image quality of Digital Single-Lens Reflex (SLR) cameras and advanced digicams.

“Support for the Nikon D40 is a natural extension of our support for Nikon digital-SLRs,” says Luc Marin, vice president of the Photography Business Unit at DxO Labs.

DxO Optics Pro v4.1 offers an initial selection of the most popular lenses for the Nikon D40 including the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II kit lens, the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED and the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D.

DxO Labs has added another eight DxO Lens Modules to its offer: the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 ED-IF for the Nikon D2X/D2Xs; the AF Zoom Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR, AF Zoom-Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF and AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED for the Nikon D80; the Canon EF16-35 f/2.8 L USM and Canon EF55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM for the Canon EOS 400D; and the Sony Zoom DT 18-200mm f/3.5 6.3 for the Sony Alpha.

“We are constantly extending our library of DxO Lens Modules to offer photographers worldwide the greatest selection of correction capabilities,” said Luc Marin.
