Post Extensis release free update to Portfolio 7

Extensis, a division of Celartem, Inc., have released a free update to Portfolio 7 - the leading Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution for creative professionals - for both Macintosh and Windows platforms. Portfolio 7.0.6 provides compatibility updates for Adobe's Creative Suite 2 and Apple's Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). Additionally, Extensis has added support for 14 new camera formats on both Mac and Windows versions of Portfolio. Registered owners of Portfolio 7 are eligible to receive the free upgrades immediately through the Extensis website at http://www.extensis.com/portfolio.

"Extensis is committed to keeping our products compatible with the latest computing platforms and digital cameras our customers use everyday," said Dan Harlacher, Portfolio product manager for Extensis. "Providing these free updates allows our customers to take full advantage of the enhancements provided by these new platforms and cameras."

The Portfolio Raw Filter 2 update adds support for the following cameras, bringing the total number of supported professional digital cameras to more than 50.

Portfolio Server's estimated street price is $3,499.95US. Upgrades to Portfolio 7 Server are available for an estimated street price of $1,199.95. NetPublish Server licenses can be purchased for an estimated street price of $1999.95US. SQL Connect for MySQL is available for $4,499.95. SQL Connect for MSDE is available for $4,499.95. System Requirements
Portfolio 7 Client supports Windows 2000, XP Home, XP Professional and QuickTime 6.4 or higher. Portfolio 7 Server supports Windows 2000 and 2003 Server. 256 MB (512 MB recommended) of physical RAM and 150 MB of free hard disk space required for installation. Portfolio NetPublish requires Microsoft IIS Versions 5.1 or 6.0.

Portfolio 7 Client and Portfolio 7 Server supports Mac OS X (10.3 or higher), Apple Macintosh G3 (G4, G5 or higher recommended) and QuickTime (6.4 or higher). 256 MB (512 MB recommended) of physical RAM and 150 MB of free hard disk space required for installation.

Portfolio NetPublish requires Mac OSX 10.3 or higher, Apache 1.3, Macintosh PowerPC G3 at 1GHz (2GHz recommended). 256MB of system RAM (512MB recommended) and 30MB of available hard disk space are recommended. Note: Additional disk space is required to store sites created with NetPublish and cache files. Internet Explorer 5.2 or higher, Netscape 7.0 or higher, or Safari 1.1 or higher.
