Press Release: Five New Tapestry Straps for Digital Cameras
The epic software group just released five new retro designs aimed squarely at digital photographers. Vic Cherubini, President of epic said: “In the early 70’s I made my living as a photographer. Whenever I purchased a new camera, I immediately got rid of the useless, narrow strap that came in the box, and replaced it with a more practical and expressive tapestry style camera strap. While my eyes loved the colors, at the end of the day my neck appreciated how the strap distributed the camera’s weight.” In 2002, epic re-released the hippie style straps and the company found that photographers both young and old loved them. “But when a budding young digital photographer asked me what the film loops were for, I knew it was time for a redesign…”said Cherubini. Epic sells the straps under the “Express Yourself” brand. They come in a variety of popular patterns inspired by Native American art (see example below), and are made with the best hardware available. Each strap has three Velcro tabbed pockets designed to hold film cards, double AA batteries, keys and currency. Each “Express Yourself” strap represent the ultimate in camera carrying comfort due to the thick wide design that evenly distributes the weight of your camera, and allows you to carry it for longer periods of time. The straps measure 2" wide by 46" long, when fully extended. And unlike the straps of the 70’s that had a metal buckle, these straps feature a plastic one that will not scratch your camera. The photo below shows one of the five patterns in the new digital design. Each strap comes with a 100% money back guarantee. The Apache The Aztec The Cherokee The Choctaw The Maya 3 Velcro tabbed pouches will keep your valuables safe and secure The straps are available directly from epic at $11.95 each. If you prefer the more traditional straps with the elastic film loops straps, they too are available at $8.95 each. You can order the straps directly from epic at 281-363-3742 or online in the stores section of their web site: epic software group, inc. - animation, multimedia, and more!. ![]()
