ILFORD, a major player in the development and manufacture of photo quality media for inkjet printing and photographic processes, has signed an exclusive agreement with Omnijet UK Limited. The objective of this partnership will be to distribute the OMNIJET portfolio of wide format products to the commercial market.

Product innovations will include:

* Instant Dry Backlit Display Film, a polyester film that has been coated specifically for use in light boxes and other back-lit applications.
* Instant Dry Portable Display Film, ideal for use at exhibitions, trade fairs and points-of-sale.
* Graphic Matt Papers, perfect for artist impressions of future developments, such as real estate plans or interior designs that do not necessitate high ink levels.
* Superior Graphic Matt Papers, suitable for printing low cost photographic images for applications such as point of sale graphics.


“Appointing Omnijet UK Ltd as the UK distributor of our OMNIJET range is an essential step towards establishing a strong sales network”, said Andrew Stewart, Sales and Marketing Director, ILFORD Imaging Switzerland GmbH. “Each of the new products in the OMNIJET range offers a high quality solution and addresses new and exciting application opportunities. We are confident that Omnijet UK Ltd has the necessary experience to accompany ILFORD in this strategic market”, he concluded.

The move will see ILFORD increasing its portfolio of wide format products throughout the year to help digital imaging professionals receive a more comprehensive product offering. Omnijet UK will now be contacting ILFORD customers, both old and new, to discuss the range of exciting new ILFORD products and promotions available from February 2007.
