Just Ltd - Dust-Aid
Sooner or later, almost every digital slr camera owner confronts the problem of dust particles on the image sensor. Today there is a bewildering variety of sensor cleaning products to choose from.
At last, Just is proud to introduce a revolutionary new product that is safe and easy to use. Invented by Professional Photographer Ross Wordhouse, Dust-Aid™ is designed to make the lives of every DSLR owner, a whole lot easier. Dust-Aid™ is: • Safe • Effective • Easy-to-use • Uses no Chemical or Liquids • Has no Brushes to Clean • Uses no Aerosols • Has One Size for all Sensors • Is Travel Friendly Many photographers use rubber bulb blowers to clean their sensors, while this is a quick and often effective technique, it won’t remove all the dust from the camera, while occasionally a blower can actually blow more dust onto the sensor. Of course, dust that remains inside the camera body can easily re-contaminate the sensor, regardless of lens changing activities. The great feature of Dust-Aid™ is that it gently lifts the contamination off the sensor and out of the camera. And, unlike many swab and brush based products, nothing is rubbed along the sensor surface, eliminating the risk of scratching. There are no liquids to buy and no brushes to clean. Dust-Aid™ wont cause problems with airline security either. Considerable research went into the adhesive properties of Dust-Aid™ and it has been independently scientifically tested to ensure that it leaves no residue on the sensor surface. Finally, its small form factor makes it easy to fit inside the smallest of gadget bags, which means that now there's no excuse for a dirty sensor wherever you are! Dust-Aid will available from Mid-March 2007 ![]() Instructions Step 1: Open the reusable bag and expose one row of foam tape. Remove one tab from the pad to expose the adhesive surface. Step 2: Apply the wand base to the top of the exposed foam pad. Lean the wand to one side to release the pad from the liner. Step 3: Place the wand onto one corner of the sensor and press gently. Lean wand to release, then lift and repeat for the other three corners. Step 4: Remove wand from Camera. Peel away foam pad and discard. Retain wand for future cleaning. |
