Post Kodak ultra compact single use camera

Press release:

The newest must have in any bag this season, whether it be a purse, backpack, gym bag or satchel, is the new Kodak Ultra Compact Single Use Camera. With a simple, clean and modern design and silver-coloured body, consumers can feel confident pulling this camera out of their bag, and looking stylish while never missing a shot, even when a more expensive camera isn’t available. This improved design, combined with the Kodak Ektanar Lens and Kodak's 800-speed film, deliver the same high definition pictures with unbeatable clarity of any 800-speed single use camera that consumers have come to expect from Kodak Ultra Compact Cameras.

“The new Ultra Compact Camera is an ideal complement to a digital picture-taking experience,” said Julian Baust, Chairman & Managing Director, Kodak Limited. “With its sleek new design, it provides an alternative that’s as attractive as it is functional. Easy-to-use, stylish and reliable, consumers can pull it out on the slopes, at a formal gathering, or at a children’s birthday party and capture great pictures.”

Consumers believe that single use cameras represent a great alternative to expensive cameras to capture quality images. While many consumers own expensive cameras, they still turn to single use cameras as an alternative. Reasons cited by consumers include:

More expensive camera not available
Full memory card or dead battery
Worry about exposing expensive cameras to the elements, whether those elements are snow, sand, or rain
Worry about young children damaging a more expensive camera

The new Ultra Compact Camera is now available for consumers to purchase in Boots stores for £9.99. Further information on all Kodak EasyShare Products can be found at the Kodak website.
