This simple set up background allows the photographer to work in a way that was extremely difficult in the past, High Key photography on location and in restrictive spaces. There is no longer a need to use a background light behind your subject, just light the rear of the background itself. Another added feature is that the background is actually illuminated, which means the subject can stand virtually right in front of it without casting a shadow.



The HiLite canbe used any way you like. It can be rotated and used on its short or long edge and is also free standing with no background supports.

It can benefit as a large rear softbox and can illuminate the subject as well, meaning you only need to use one other flash head to light the subject from the front. Just to finish off, the whole thing is collapsible.

The HiLite background comes in two sizes: 1.5m x 2.15m (5’ x 7’) and 1.8m x 2.15m (6’ x 7’). For more information plaese visit the Johnsons Photopia website.
