The optimized high-power and multicoated MINOCTAR lens of the MINOX DC 8011 even offers the photographer a 28 mm wide angle (with respect to the 35 mm format) and thus not only greater flexibility when selecting subjects for the standard picture format. In the optional 16:9 mode this short focal length is ideal for expressive wide-format photography. For getting the subject in view and assessment of the image result after the shot the DC 8011 features a 2.7 inch TFT LCD color monitor.
