Re: New Trust Widescreen Graphics Tablet
Welcome to Pixalo Joanita
I can't confirm that. I'm not sure what Joanita is getting at here. The sensitivity of the tablet - that is the ratio between the movement of the hand against the movement of the cursor on the screen changes along with the selected working area, but I don't know if this is done by the sofware changing the working lines per inch or some other method. There might be some confusion in the terminology when these devices are called graphics tablets and widescreen, when they don't actually display graphics. I think that one maker has developed one that does, so you can draw directly on an image, but they are massively expensive and not widely available. |

Re: New Trust Widescreen Graphics Tablet
The reviews I've read of previous Trust tablets have not been brilliant. The Wacom ones are generally of better quality, although more expensive.
I have a Wacom Volito tablet (now discontinued) which I rarely use. Some people find graphics tablets indispensable, but I never really got on with it and found the mouse easier for most things. I'd suggest borrowing one if possible before buying, to see which camp you fall into! ![]() |

Re: New Trust Widescreen Graphics Tablet
I was in the hate camp - vociferously so! For general PS work I still am. However for brushing, which I use extensively when masking out layers, it's unbeatable.
I've got very cheap and nasty A5 tablet I acquired from my work. Musta cost 'em all of £25 and it's utterly crap. But for brush work, it's way WAY better than a mouse for doing delicate blending of layers. As the pen is pressure sensitive, it gives an extra dimension of control simply not present on a mouse. |
