The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show 2007 - Home NEC Birmingham, 16-18 March 2007 Photography enthusiasts can join leading outdoor photographer Colin Prior for a series of special workshops taking place in the Regatta Perfect Spot throughout the show. Prior will also be speaking about his adventures and latest challenges in the World Theatre. A gallery displaying a selection of Prior's images will be open to the public. Visitors will have the chance to bid for his pictures at an auction for which all proceeds will go to Raleigh International. Happy snappers can submit pictures of their favourite outdoors place online, and share great locations with the outdoors community. Web link to the online gallery, in association with hf holidays: The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show 2007 - Photo Library Olympus is the official show camera sponsor and host of the 'British Underwater Image Festival', a nationwide underwater photography and video competition that is run in association with Dive Magazine. The awards ceremony will take place during the show and finalists' work will also be displayed. Water babies can take part in underwater photography sessions, run by PADI, in the dive pool. New show features for 2007 include: * Brand Showcase - the latest in technical clothing and new outdoors fashions and equipment presented by some of the best outdoors brands, topped off with fashion shows and expert gear talks covering topics including waterproofing, rucksacks and boot fitting. * A Wilderness Camp - where visitors can pick up survival skills and the latest information on conservation issues. * All the action from The ICC European Bouldering Championships - hosted live from the show. * Fun in the sun at the Freespirit Beach Festival. * The Climb Zone & Rock Café - taster sessions for beginners, advanced master classes for professionals run by planetFear and a café to relax in and watch the action around you.
