Best Colour Management System: X-Rite ColorMunki Photo

The ColorMunki Photo gives photographers more colour control for their images. It is designed for the digital workflow of enthusiast and professional photographers and delivers an integrated solution for matching colours from display right through to final print. It combines a spectrophotometer measuring device with an intuitive software workflow. The device can calibrate displays, projectors and printers, and measures ambient light as well as capturing spot colours. The AppSet Utility included automatically activates the measured printer profile for the various user applications supported. ColorMunki Photo comes with additional colour creation and communication tools, such as ColorPalette for extracting colours from images. The DigitalPouch utility helps to ensure that viewers can look at an image in ‘safe’ colour conditions.
