DayMen Photo Marketing appointed exclusive Canadian distributor for Tokina lenses

MARKHAM, ON – DayMen Photo Marketing is pleased to be announcing today, their appointment by Tokina Co., Ltd., Japan, as the exclusive distributor in Canada for the complete line of Tokina lenses, perfectly suited for use with most of today’s digital single-lens-reflex cameras.

With their unique focal ranges, and large constant aperture performance, Tokina lenses are strategically positioned in today’s digital imaging marketplace offering a range of lenses that appeal to both pro- sumer and professional photographers. “Tokina offers photographers many outstanding lens options, including some designs such as the AT-X Pro AF 12-24mm f/4.0, that according to several independent test reports, out-performs its equivalent OEM-branded lens”, states Bill Wood, VP of Merchandise for DayMen Photo Marketing. Tokina offers a concise variety of lenses for both Canon and Nikon D-SLRs, including the highly rated AF 12-24mm f/4.0, as well as one of the most unique fisheye zoom lenses on the market today – the AT-X AF 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5. In addition, Tokina also offers the AT-X Pro AF 16-50mm f/2.8, the AT-X Pro AF 50-135mm f/2.8, the AF 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6, as well as the AT-X Pro AF 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens. Always working to expand their selection of unique lenses, Tokina has also announced the availability this Spring of 2 new lenses – the AT-X Pro AF 11-16mm f/2.8 and the AT-X Pro AF 35mm f/2.8 Macro.

As a further testament to the outstanding optical and mechanical quality of every Tokina lens, DayMen is also pleased to announce that all Tokina lenses purchased in Canada through DayMen-authorized Tokina dealers will carry a 5-year Canadian warranty.

Tokina lenses will be available as of April 15th, 2008, from DayMen’s newly-expanded and modernized distribution and warehouse facility in Markham.
