Malta Fisherman.

This was taken about 15 years ago with our first digital camera a Fuji 6900 3mp which up rated to 6mp in camera. This was an excellent camera with razor sharp images the only fault was the delay from pressing the shutter until image was taken. I bought it in Dixons sale in the duty free at Heathrow Airport even then it was about 900. I would like opinions on image quality as compared with to-days larger pixel cameras. Don't forget quality has been lost to downsize to post here.
Colin.

Re: Malta Fisherman.

When you see the very small pixel count on your image you have posted here Colin, and the massive pixel count on the modern today's cameras, you would expect a bigger increase in clarity.
A great shot by the way.

Re: Malta Fisherman.

My first digital camera was a 5mp Sony 717 around 600 which was a lot of money in those days. It did however have an excellent Vario Sonnar lens. Same horrible viewfinder lag but the image quality was excellent. I still have it somewhere, if it still works I might do a comparison with my modern camera.
