Studio Portrait Lighting

Hi All!
This is my first ever post. I have recently got a new light kit and im slowly setting up a home studio. Took my first shots with it the other day.
Would just like some general advice, pointers and criticism.
Thanks, Ben.

Re: Studio Portrait Lighting

Welcome to Pixalo Ben

Nice shot I like the lighting and the model looks relaxed and there is a good connection to her.

There is a good separation from the background and I like the vignette although there will be others who won't.

The shot works very well as it is, but maybe could be improved with a hair light.

I've moved this to the People Photography Forum as you will probably get more comments here. Sorry I had to break your link but our image size rules are no bigger than 1024 pixels on the longest side and under 300kb file size.
