1st Landscape Shot
I'm not too sure about the sky to be honest, i took two shots with different exposure levels. One for the sky, and one for the ground/trees. I tried blending them, and feel that i've not succeeded on that one. But otherwise, i like the shot. Any comments? |

I think this photo has a lot of potential.
![]() I think you are correct that the merge or the two images hasn't worked 100%, there seems to be some halos around the tops of the trees in the center that isn't apparent of the reflection. Brilliant colours by the way, and very nice reflections. I think a much tighter crop would suit this better. |

I think the fact that it's a tiny little pond should be hidden:
![]() You can also get the horizon on a third then.

Agree with others about tighter crop. Nice shot.

yeah its a much nicer shot cropped.
I still find it weird that showing less of something makes it look better |

I don't think you should be afraid to crop an image. Esp. as most DSLR viewfinders don't give a 100% acurate image.

I much prefer your linked crop there Jonny
The removal of the moon from the shot has made a big difference, on the original it wasn't big enough to add to the image. It captures a cold winters day quite well I think. |
