Re: Amy headshot
Great shot David
It has your usual technical excellence, and to me this is at the top of the tree of your shots, I like the tight crop that brings your attention squarely on her eyes, and she certainly has fantastic eyes. She also seems to have the magic ingredient that some of your other models are missing, she is projecting her personality, knowingly or unknowingly, and it just works. She does not look like she is posing and appears completly at ease. I think I'd like this shot as my wallpaper, but 'er indoors would probably throw me out!

Re: Amy headshot
Hi David
What do you think about the top of Amy's head being cut off? I think ok, but just barely. Agree with Dab....she projects into the lens. The image does seem just a tad flat to me, but maybe that is what you wanted. If we get too much contrast, it makes the model look harsh. I like the shadows on her face. Please tell me about your lighting. I am having a devil of a time with indoor lighting. Thanks skip |

Re: Amy headshot
i think she definately looks more natural in her expression , and like the way you have cropped in .I dont know if its my monitor ,( other shots look ok on it ) but to me its like their is a very light haze over the full image ,giving me the tad to light over full imag.
This would have to be one of the first ones that i really like the natural look to facial expressions , keeping in mind really trying to learn more on the shots you and skip upload regarding this type of photography .So really my comments are as neutral and non personal that i can and are based only on from me as a viewer not from experience on these types of images .if this make sense.
