To me, the variation in colours in this one provides a nice focal point, I also find modern architecture more interesting, so I like this pic better than the Tower bridge one.

As someone said in the other thread, using a longer shutter speed to blur the water more may've created nicer reflections on the water, but it's a great picture anyway.
