I Have been out and about today trying to get my architectural/building shots for the comp. I won’t tell you were I have been in case I use the pics, but here are some others that I took. I don’t know if they conform to photography rules or not but I like them.

Not so much rules - more a set of general guidelines.
Some images work precisely because they flout all the so-called 'rules of composition'.
