This is a shot of the lake

Nice shot Paul but there's a huge expanse of foreground water there. The shot is crying out for some foreground interest which would also add depth to the shot. A boat in the foreground would be ideal, even some figures standing looking out over the lake. Still if they weren't there... :lol:

i agree,

even tho its a picture of a lake, its actually a picture about the sky and its reflection ( to me at least ),
but as CT says, forground interest can also make it a great shot , if.....you can find something in the forground, lol

either way, the levels could be experimented a bit to make it come to life, a little flat on my monitor, but it might be my monitor 8) , lol
possibly a little contrast and brightening up ? and a tad more saturation ?

It does look like something has been done to it ! May be down to compression though ?

The idea of the shot was the lake and reflections of the sky on the lake.
The only thing done to the pic was to resize it to post on here.
