Re: Antique Truck 2nd try
sorry am unable to help you out as have never played with this area yet. However would be interested in knowing exactly what you did to this in ps.
My personal thoughts as a viewer is interest , maybe a little more area on our left side of front of truck as corner of truck seems to be just in .also is there anyway to take out glare on right side of windscreen. However i think you have captured era extremely well, also looks like other photo opportunities around in bg .Be interested to see any other pics from this .Plus learning more on the how to side of editing for this pic ![]()

Re: Antique Truck 2nd try
I like the feeling this gives.
Normally, we like a bit of room between the frame and the objects, people, automobiles, etc to give them the feeling of space and movement into that space. Here, the bumper nudging the frame is a perfect representation of the fact that this old baby isn't going anywhere! I agree that the round building interfers with the truck, so a slight shift to the left would have been good. Always be critically aware of your background and the effect that it has on your subject. skip |

Re: Antique Truck 2nd try
I definitely think you've got a much stronger image now so well done. The composition works much better and I actually quite like the distant truck in the BG on the right as it sort of ties the image together. I might have preferred just a tad more of the side of the vehicle whilst maintaining the angled view you've given us but overall this is a vast improvement so very well done
