Re: Anybody seen my razor?
Sweet Gale Moth? Anyway, whatever, it's a pretty good shot. Be nice if closer but I'm guessing this is your kit lens?

Re: Anybody seen my razor?
Ahhhhh the kit lens, no home should be without one.
Not bad though, it's abot 25% of the original frame! |

Re: Anybody seen my razor?
Well done Soupy - just shows what you can do with kit lenses. I might crop a bit from the LHS, but other than that spot-on.

Re: Anybody seen my razor?
You are right of course, the trouble with cropping, and I am sure you know, is the image starts blocking up too much.

Re: Anybody seen my razor?
Very cool shot, soupy.
I like the colors, angles of the stem, leaf and caterpillar and the dof. Good framing as well. Maybe I am just mellowing, but I can't find anything to criticize. You CAN'T be that good! ![]() skip |

Thanks all (high praise from skip indeed)
I had another go at a reject but think the OOF bit spoils it. There were quite literally millions of these things along the coast! ![]() |

Re: Anybody seen my razor?
First one is definitely way better, I really like that and to think you did that with a kit lens, great stuff. I know you'll not be able to print it out at A3 or anything but so what, as it is it looks great, good composition, lovely focusing and bokeh, very well done
