Re: B&W Color.

That might bake a good tri-tone image. Using black and two complementary colors of blue to represent the mid tones..

Re: B&W Color.

Right guys, Fionas right i have used a blue shade in the image i thought it went ok but wasnt 100% sure,i tried other different color & shades but nothing seemed to match with the rock formations they were either to washed out looking or just didnt look right.

Re: B&W Color.

Well, I don't think that you need the blue. Would be better a strict mono. And I would bring up the shadows on the rocks a bit. Then you have a grabbing image.

Hmmm...on my monitor it shows as a slight pinky hue to the sky and I think it works really well! It's a nice shot

Re: B&W Color.

I think you're all seeing things LOL. If I had not seen mention of colours, I'd have had this down as a straight mono and I think most of you would have too. If there is some blue in there it is subtle to the point of obscurity!

Ah well, the image works ok and the balance of lighting between the dark rocks still having detail and the sky not being burnt out is very commendable.

Cheers,
Rob
