Re: Been playing
I think that looks stunning Chris! The dark sky really makes the buildings stand out

Re: Been playing
Me too - great shot. Part of me likes it just as it is, another part says the sky needs a bit more detail. I can see some clouds lurking, have you tried a version bringing them out more?

Re: Been playing
I'm with Dabhand16 on this. I like the details in the foreground and the amazing number of different shades of green. I also like the angles that run up to the door of the castle and the way the fence in the field mimics the path/road in direction. However there is either too much sky or not enough detail in it. I think if you are to keep the sky looking like it is then you may be best trying to crop some of it out. That said you do have detail in the sky, it's just a question of how well you can pull them out, maybe spend 5mins playing with the curves and see what you can do.
My final thing and this isn't necessarily a bad thing but to me it looks as though you have sharpened it a little too much. I do know i am only looking at the small web version and not the original file, but i am just commenting on what i am seeing. |
