This shot was taken just before the fight Lighting was poor so a bit moody I said

If you can adjust the exposure, it would be an outstanding image, capturing the feeling.

I like it, you can clearly see the tension in his face, and the moody underexposure + spot lights in the BG really emphasise the before-fight build up. I like the low viewpoint you chose, with the glove being prominent in the FG, it really gives a sense of being in the ring. Excellent work sawdust

As a variation, I would've liked to see a bit of the crowd in the BG, just to add to the sense of anticipation + excitement of the impending fight

Great shot........... Like the direction of the lighting. Yeah, it could be lighter but you're the artist and this is your work. So, well done.

Cracking shot !!!! Can't fault the shot taking into account the difficult lighting.

I can offer a few post processing tweaks though

Wanted to draw attention to face more, so used OMNI lighting filter (Filters -> Render Lighting Effects ->Omni)
Made the OMNI circle width of shot & then dragged centre over face.
Using Layer - curves dragged upper part of line upwards to increase highlight. Changed blend mode to luminosity (to bring down saturation slightly)

Finally mono version from the above.
Converted using Channel mixers, RED 60% Green 40%.
Duplicated layer & then changed blend mode to "soft light" to get dark background

Excellent shot considering the conditions, and a great pimp by Dave to bring out it's potential... colour pimp is my favourite btw, the warmth of it makes the shot for me

I agree with Sonsey that Daves colour pimp is by far the best for graphic effect but not to take anything away from Sawdusts original i think the composition is excellent very well done i say!

Thank you all for the comments on my comp and print there is more light on the face but thanks Dave for the mods.
(Still think a D200 would help )
