This is a super shot, dogdots

Excellent DoF, great colour, exposure is spot on ... not much to nit-pick about this image ...

Only thing I can see which would have improved it, is if the leaf were not covering one of the eggs, but I am sure you got the best possible view, given your viewpoint. You could've picked the leaf off, but perhaps you'd have lost your balance So, not much to be done about that pesky leaf, I s'pose.

Apart from that ... Love the composition!

All in all, a great shot, very well executed

Thank you Charlotte for the critique on the birds nest. The leaf....yeah, I know what you mean about it being in the way. It was. And I did get a shot of it out of the way, but it didn't look as good. Alittle off and looked like the nest wasn't sitting right.

I might be tempted to up the contrast a touch and burn back the leaves slightly but an enjoyable image!

Soz! Terminology! Burn is darken - will "push" them into more of the background!

I looked at the leaves as hiding the eggs and I was just peeping in. Pushing them into the background is a good idea. Thanks.
