Bit of a theme developing?

Following from Kenco's excellent graveyard shot's.

This was a shot taken in b&w from a visit to avebury on wednesday. It's the local church (gosh!)

Let me know what you think. It's had a bit of PP in CS2 but not a vast amount

Oooh, like that . Window works well off to one side & the sky gives a real effect of drama & height to the tower . The sky looks a different tone, so I assume it was added / burned in ?

yeah, sky was added from another piccie. The original sky was flat grey. I tried to match the tone but decided the darker sky gave it a more ominous feel. I was just playin with some different PS techniques; The contrast sharpening from the POTN forum, and adding skies, which is something I'd never tried before as I generally consider it a bit of a cheat!

Just tried desaturating your image & the sky came closer in tone with the tower

certainly got that ominous feeling right in this one, i think the off center composition helps that nicely. i like it.

A certain female 'someone' suggested I should be adding bats to it!

I don't think she was being serious but I get her point!
