This actually stands out better on here than it did in email Fi, probably because of the grey background used on Pixalo. I wonder whether it would work more dynamically if you had it either splashing against a surface or into a 'pool' at the bottom?
Doesn't have enough 3 dimensional depth to hold the attention as it is IMO. Interesting idea :o) Cheers, Rob |

I'm unsure about this, not really my sort of thing in general. In this, my eye tends to run all over the place. There is no focal point or highlight to draw me in. The black corner at the top left seems a little empty also, and i can't work out whether that is good or not.
What was it? a shower? |

Ayyyy...Fi......you really took it to heart when I suggested that you broaden your horizons. Good for you.
This is the sort of abstract that you would see in a gallery at 2m x 3m in a beautiful frame, selling for 10,000 pounds sterling (I don't have a pound sign handy). And some yo yo passing by would say, " what a rip off...I could paint that in my garage in 1 hour". But that is abstract art, and as such, works pretty well. Also, as such, for me it is really difficult to evaluate and critique. But, as I said, wtg, Fi. You are going in new amazing directions, and it must be buzzing around in your brain like crazy!!! skip |
