My first attempt at a model/glamour/fashion shoot with the new lighting.

Any C&C or thoughts appreciated....

Hi Tim

The new lighting is working very well. My only concerns are that her legs are not well defined. Perhaps a reflector on our right side might help. Also perhaps the wb is a tad too cool. Otherwise good lighting.

I really like the angles formed by Bridgets arms and legs, and she looks comfortable in the pose.

However, I don't think the jeans work well with the gray bg. Perhaps it would be better if she wore red or orange, something warmer, of course not to clash with her bra.

Finally, the crop seems just a bit tight over her head, but overall, a worthy picture.

I pretty much agree with what Skip has said. Also perhaps the background not being 'one piece' and producing a line along with the different textures is detracting a bit?

Yup, I am glad Skip mentioned the colours as I couldn't quite put my finger on what wasn't working other than the dark legs. It is the cold blue and the hot red bra that is conflicting so yes, I agree that some leggings or trousers in another colour might well work a lot better.

The lighting from the waist up is excellent, really works beautifully. The pose is pretty strong too, maybe just a TAD too much right shoulder but that is entirely down to taste so others might be perfectly happy with that. i'd have her pull it back a very small amount but without losing the 'sassy' look that works beautifully with this girl's look, hair and general pose.

Great work, only thing that spoils it for me is the overly large inclusion of your name and copyright which is very distracting. Not saying don't use copyright, I understand why some want to even though at 72 dpi and at this size this shot would be pretty much useless to anyone as it could only really be printed out at a couple of inches high. It's only that the position of it, right next to her face, makes it harder to get a natural feel for the picture as a whole.

I hear what you are saying about the jeans, but I love the contrast between the two, when she showed us what she had to wear, I asked her to put the red lingerie and the jeans on straight away...
