This guy has been busy, well, it is a bee.

The picture is a 100% crop (as if you couldn't tell )
Still a fair amount of detail considering.

I had a little play in PS, hope you don't mind.


I'm not experienced and I'm working on a laptop so my monitor calibration is non-existing. Think I managed to get rid of some noise.

It looks sharper, what did you do?

I'm at work right now so I don't have the file and exact settings, but in general:

Applied USM (50% / 1.5 / 1) I think! on a new layer and just erased the areas that was to bright.
Ran it through Neat Image PS plugin (auto settings) to remove the noise.
Merged layers and a very slight S-curve in a new curves adjustment layer.

That's pretty much it on this one.
