Just my opinions, but it needed a little more DOF to make the back of the wings pin sharp as well... Also, it's not quite central - the 'weighting' of the pic seems to be a little left-of-centre
I'd say you did very well to capture it at all though |

I'm guessing that's already a substantial crop Joe, and I don't think you have the sharpness and image quality left to do much with it. Shame though.

Really unusual shot Joe T - agree about the dof comments and a shame the antennae were not erect and in focus too.
It looks like a Comma to me ! Overall I like and, although you prob have reasons not to crop further imho it could do with a tad more ? |

Well composed. DOF is very restricted and f5.3 is too large an aperture to give the DOF this shot is crying out for! Get in a bit closer with a smaller aperturte and the BG will still be OOF enough to give the colour/tones you need for a backdrop without any distracting detail.
Good effort though. |
