Butterfly Kisses
Getting some daddy love... let me know how I did on this one, added a soft effect to it, but kept the eyes sharp and opted for a close crop.

Re: Butterfly Kisses
Technically, I like it. Good cropping, softening and focus. Perhaps it could use a bit more contrast.
From an impact standpoint, it misses a bit, possibly because the action all seems to be one way. Dad is giving a great kiss, and the child seems unaware of it, and is much more interested in what is happening behind the camera. From my point of view, if there are two people in an image, there must be some thread of contact between them. skip |

Re: Butterfly Kisses
I am not crew so it's not really my place to say but I think the rules of posting here with a picture linked elsewhere say you must include a smaller version on here as well so that we don't have to go off site to view it. I personally don't like having to go and look elsewhere at pictures.
As to the picture (which i did go and look at :o)) I love the little girl's face, but the kiss doesn't seem to be connecting in that she seems to be completely ignoring 'dad' (or whoever) which loses a bit of its 'ahhh' factor. Pleasant enough but if I am honest the picture would be just as lovely if it was just the little sweetie without the parental kiss. Or is it just me? Cheers, Rob

Re: Butterfly Kisses
Hi Bity...I agree with Rob...I hate going offsite to see pictures, so please size so we don't have to. If you don't know how to resize, just ask. It depends on the processing program you use.
And Rob....we agree, totally. Two great minds, etc. skip |

BBN - If you resize the picture to within the Pixalo limit and upload again to your hosting site it's just a simple case of editing the web address in your original post to get your corrected pic showing again, this can be done yourself but if your at all unsure one of the Crew will be happy to do it for you. ![]() |
