Can you see circles in this?

Went down to Cardiff Bay last night and took a shot of the lock gates on the Barrage. I seem to be getting yellow circles all over the image!

Are these Circles of Confusion? The urban equivalent of Crop Circles?

Now look carefully! They're painted on the metalwork/concrete! Cool or what? The top one at the very back is an enormous line painted on the seawall (actually, when I first saw it I wondered why they'd painted an enormous yellow swoosh on the wall!)

This 2 shot pano taken with my mobile but I'll definitely be back when the light's better

What was weird was that as I walked up to the point (easily found, TBH, as it's on the walkway of the raisable bridge) the yellow lines all swam into their positions. Hadn't seen it before, tho' know the Barrage very well. As was at the end of the day, not many people around (usually quite full there with watchers of the boats going through)

now that is very very clever.... i take it that it can only been seen frmo a certain angle/.......... hmmmmmmmm wonder if O/h would be interested in a trip to Wales! lol

But it's a bit tough on all the boats going through - having to have yellow stripes painted on them...

Yeah, there is a specific spot, Fi, where it all comes together. Oh, and the "missing" bit on the left isn't, it's just hidden behind the pontoon in the lock!

There's a fortune to be made for someone selling yellow paint at the dockside, Silky!
