Hey Les, I went there a few months ago and it was miserable, really grey and drizzly so my pics were not much to right home about. This one is very good, love the tone, detail and angle of the shot.

This stone circle, although interesting as a historical monument and situated in a great place, is definitely a challenge to photograph! I've only been there three or four times and apart from this and a couple of other images have never really been too excited about the results I obtained.

I have to say that one of the most boring photographs I have ever seen of this site was done by Fay Godwin for her book 'Land' many years ago. At that time it made me realise that a) this is a difficult site and b) some photographers aren't as good as their reputations would have you believe!

Anyone else got pics of Castlerigg we can have a look at?
