Cat Litter
Another mono shot. I only took this because I saw the cat and the word Litter and it just had to go together! It's a bit dark and grainy (deliberately added) and the cat doesn't immediately jump out from the deark background but I like the subtelty that this gives the shot. I could have sepia toned it but was happy enough with the old world feel it has. If anyone fancies pimping it, go ahead. Sorry it's a tad smaller, I didn't size it to be used here and don't want to stretch it more as it will get a bit too soft. See what you think anyway.

Not one of my favs, Rob. The cat doesn't seem to be part of the picture, he is off to one side, nearly closed off by the wall to the left, and his attention is to the other side. The may be very cat-like, but I find it confusing to the image. And you are right, the eye has to search for him amidst all the litter. Hmmm....the composition seems littered.

funny how we all see different things.... i adore this shot, maybe cos of the olde worlde effect............. maybe cos there is so much in it i caould look at this for ages, unfortunately i simply dont know why i love it. i just do!

l like this one too. It's one of those shots that don't have to be technically perfect to work, and I suspect that for most folk you will either like it or 'hate' it with no middle ground.
Skip is right with his comments, but I find the various textures and details make for an interesting picture. |
