I like the picture a lot except for that bright set of highlights that look as if they are comming out of her mouth. They do not look that difficult to clone out.

You are right, the reflections did distract.
The image does look better.
(BTW, I didn't Clone, I used the Patch Tool, IMO it did a better job than cloning)

Lovely portrait Sotelo, and the edit does look better

Did you crop the back of her hair in-camera or in PP? Would prefer her hair to remain intact.

And a bit more detail in her hair on the side of her head, i.e. facing us, as it is just a black patch with no detail. If you have the RAW you could use some fill light to open up that detail?

Lovely shot though, very well caught

I just cropped a little of the top thats all.
I have the tiff file and I did some fill light on it with Lightroom and it does look better.
the reason I posted this picture here is because she really likes this picture and I want to print it 20x24 and put it in the hallway, shes really going to love it, especially how its looking with these corrections. Thanks Charlotte.

Think Charlotte's Fill will complete a very nice portrait (and removal of the highlights has improved - I didn't expect just how much they were in the shot) - can totally understand why your wife likes it as it is a very natural candid type shot!

Yes a very nice picture but if you are going to enlarge it to 24 x 15.6 inches I would remove the black spot on her nose.

I would absolutely NOT remove anything that is a permanent feature of a person's face so leave that nose alone! This is a really lovely picture Sotelo, the adjustments you have made have worked really well and it captures a really thoughtful moment.

Yeah, my wife never wants any of her birthmarks removed ever, she says a picture of her without her marks it's just not her.
