Christina Near the Tree :)
OK.....the response for Christina in the tree was overwhelmingly negative, and I can see why, sadly. But in spite of heavy thigh, I like it. However -
Is this better? skip ![]() Sorry mods, I know this is in the 24 hour time frame, but I was in a hurry to post and get feedback! |

Re: Christina Near the Tree :)
Yes - and no!
I like the pose and her expression and the diagonal, but find the tree too intrusive. It is blocking out too much of her. Strangely, I find if I crop the bottom of the shot to around her right elbow, (and cloning any white from her skirt), it seems to work better. A reflector would have brought out here hair better. |

Re: Christina Near the Tree :)
Well, it tells a story ... her tousled hair, facial expression, undone top, + her sitting position (straddling the fork of the 2 branches) say to me that she just had a ruff-and-tumble with you, + now she's gazing at you lovingly with those glazed eyes
![]() Technically it's not too bad, except the BG is not terribly pleasing to look at, including the bleached out sky, dead leaves + half-eaten leaves. In short, you needed a much more pleasant setting for the shoot. |

Agree with Graham's crop, Skip. This model looks like she has some real potential. See more?

Re: Christina Near the Tree :)
This is more appealing than the other tree shot Skip. I also agree with Graham's crop and think it could be quite a winning shot. Love the expression and love the tossled hair.

Re: Christina Near the Tree :)
Definitely a much better shot than the one with her in the tree. Let's face it, a gorgeous girl sitting up a tree is never going to look that natural! Anyway, this one I have to totally agree with the crop Graham mentioned. I first saw the pic with the bottom part off-screen and it looked good, then I moved it up to see the rest and found it less appealling. I'd go for the crop and thehn it works well
![]() Lovely natural beauty this young lady has, a pleasure to shoot I am sure. Cheers, Rob
