Re: Convertible by the Lake
Very nice. A bit overwhelming, but I actually think this is great. Like the almost 'lomo' effect as well

A retro feel to this shot.

Re: Convertible by the Lake
Something quite appealing about this, but a shame about the reflected card in the window.

Re: Convertible by the Lake
Damn missed that, hey, y'know this might look good in mono as well, different style but might be interesting. Surprised someone above me (
) didn't suggest it

Re: Convertible by the Lake
It's too overly blue coloured for me.

Re: Convertible by the Lake
I am not a fan of the strong corner vignette and the overall effect is a bit too strong for me. Having said that, those into cars might well see this very differently

Re: Convertible by the Lake
I think the handle on the door is adding too much, my eyes keep being drawn to the handle and away from the rest of the picture, maybe a crop without the handle, good photo.

Re: Convertible by the Lake
It's called cross processing. Easily done with curves in PS and is a great retro effect. Works really well with just about everything except landscapes - or at least my landscapes
![]() IIRC CS3 comes with the preset curves in them although you can make your own pretty easilly - I prefer my ones to the CS3 ones. Here's more info on background of cross processing Cross processing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
