Re: Cowboy
this is really nice, my only complaint is the the fence blocks out the horses face, this i think would have finished the image of beautifully! other than that its a lovely emotive image.

Re: Cowboy
I go along with that. A lower/closer viewpoint would have got the main areas of the horses in the gap in the fence. Their legs going behind the fence would have been less of a bother.

Re: Cowboy
apart from agreeing with what has already been said , i would also remove the power line or what ever it is our left near top of tree ,and maybe try to one without your white frame and then with the frame ,feel it really needs horses face though. Look forward to seeing your next one, well done

Re: Cowboy
Agreeing with what has been said above, I do like the way you have managed to merge the jacket into the trees I think River, fence trees and sky work well.

Re: Cowboy
I think the main problem has already been mentioned, the poor horse who has a white plank across his face. Ok, just thought I'd see if I could try and show what I think would improve the image overall. I cloned out the other horse and put a new one in but sorry, I didn't have a white horse in my collection so I had to go for a chestnut one (brown to you and me!) instead. I haven't matched it perfectly but that is mostly because the original is so heavily compressed (only 41kbs) that it made it hard to match my other image in. But you get the idea anyway and that is all I was trying to do.
I also lifted the jacket a bit so the guy didn't blend in quite so much with the trees. After all, his name is River, not Forest ![]() Hope you like the idea anyway ![]() Cheers, Rob ![]()
