Crops

Taken lying on back in field shotting up towards sky.......just as well the Farmer wasn't around

Not sure about this one. Usually I love a sky with clouds in it, but wonder if this conflicts ith crops in this shot Is it too fussy ?

I know you like your mono but I think this would look better in colour, particulalry if you had a polarising filter on, the contrasting colours would work well IMO.

Yep, have to agree there Colin. Some others said the same in the Gallery. Might have to try a colour process

Nice idea, works rather well, I may have also tried with really wide angle lens surounded by crops with just a circle of sky in the middle of the shot.

That definitley looks better and much easier on the eye! The colour separates out the details of the sky and the crops and stops you going boggle-eyed!

I think the colour works well with this type of shot, the B+W version just lacks unusually a bit of bite.
