Re: Daffy Duck
Hi Will
While this shot doesn't float my boat, I do really like the ripples, reflections and colors in the water. The vegetation on the right doesn't add to the image, so I would crop some but not all of it. This has the added benefit of moving daffy off center. He could also stand just a bit of dodging to bring out a bit more detail. skip |

Re: Daffy Duck
I like this photo Vk, it is a tranquil scene and the ripples are great. I have had a play as it has a strong colour cast and is a bit flat. Hope you like the adjustments. I don't agree that the right needs cropping, I rather like it so I have left it as is.
Cheers, Rob

Re: Daffy Duck
I like the adjustment of b and w points you did here, Rob, but I think it is a bit too yellow now, and the water loses those lovely green, blue and yellow hues. I could go either way with the crop, I guess.

Re: Daffy Duck
Thanks Skip and Rob.
I am not one for cropping it if I can help it. the reason We are very new to this game (well the next step from happy snapper anyway) and we are trying to get the picture right, the first time, so we do not have to spend to much time in the digital darkroom. which is a night mare in it own, It look right on chickadee monitor or to dark on mine or vice versa so it very hard and confusing to see two different views of the same pick So we are trying to master one (well improve more) before we move to the next stage. ie , Camera, monitor,Software, Spider, Printer and back pocket. the list goes on.
