That's an interesting idea Don and it has produced an intriguing shot. I think maybe the total blackness is just a bit heavy on top of all the colour and detail, maybe it would be helped with a touch of reflected lighting onto the top of the petals. Other than that I do like this a lot, it keeps me looking around at the different detail there.
