Devils Claw
Is what I believe the plant from which these flowers came from is called.
Taken in doors with natural light shining in through window. 1/6th sec exposure tripod and cable release. ![]() Thanks. Ken. |

Great shot Ken, it can be improved slightly by removing the digital haze.
I love the use of the stone. Try applying unsharp mask at 20,30,1, this will remove the haze and give the petals more definition. HTH |

Thanks everyone for the comments so far. Matt didn't know if you meant for your suggestion to be applied to the original tiff or the jpg. This has had the usm to the jpg....Also not sure what HTH means.

It can be applied to either Ken, but it has to be done at the last stage of processing.
Have you noticed how the usm has lifted the subject from the background? This should earn a place on your wall, its excellent. |

I like that. As a variation have you tried it from a lower viewpoint, concentrating more on the flowers?
