DM'd the 'fall
OK, so I thought I'd try something. Have a 'fall shot that doesn't quite work as is so thought I'd manipulate it into a fisheye image. Changed the perspective, cloned in the rock, top left, as it was riverbank and also cloned in the corners to "fill" the distortion.
Does it work? Or am I wasting my time?

As an abstract, I think it works pretty well.
I looked at it for awhile and finally decided that is was water eddying about some rocks. I like the swirl creating a diagonal, and the contrasting curve at the top. Interesting shot. skip |

sorry Mark, it doesnt do anything for me, but i am not and never have been a fan of either abstract or fisheye...... that takes nothing away from the image its just not my cuppa tea

Think I was sort of heading for an abstracty image, Skip, but kind of got lost along the way as it doesn't really get there!  But you're right: water eddying around rocks!  No worries, Fi! Appreciate you commenting!

Looks like water swirling down an enormous plughole to me, doesn't do alot for me I'm afraid.

I see it entirely diffeent and for me that proves it actually does work as an abstract. I see it as a tidal wave rushing forward and I can just imagine dolphins leaping through the crest as it moves.

I'm with Rob, when I first lokked at it I thought of waves from the sea. Then I read your comments. I like it
 Mind you I was sleeping on a long plane journey once, when I woke I looked out the window and was sure I saw dolphins jumping through the clouds
